How long have you been in business?
The Ajamu Group has been in business since May 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
The Ajamu Group secures advertising for national media properties (print, on-line, mobile media). We also create and manage Corporate events.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I began my career in Advertising Media Sales at Black Entertainment Television as the Detroit Advertising Sales Manager. I was responsible for securing advertising for the BET magazines.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in securing advertising for niche markets, primarily African American markets. Because of our expertise with this consumer, we have the ability to create customized and unique branding campaigns via advertising to increase revenue and brand awareness for our clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location (Michigan). Our goal to have offices in Los Angeles by 2015.
