How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have been receiving bodywork throughout our lives; usually due to necessity from sports or sustaining repetitive stress injuries. We felt drawn to our field by experiencing the benefits of therapeutic massage first-hand. In 2016, we opened our massage studio Niasoma Bodywork to bring tailored therapeutic massage to everyone who needs it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
You will feel the difference of a Niasoma massage immediately. Our lobby is relaxing and inviting, we keep our lights low, and aromatherapy fills the air. Enjoy tea or fresh fruit infused water before or after your massage, you do not need to feel rushed in our space.
Our therapists spend time with you to understand your goals and are here to help you achieve them. We do not cut time out of your massage for intakes and updates, dressing/undressing, or changing our tables, as many chains do. As long as you are on time, you will always receive your full session time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location, on 10 Mile Rd, in Southfield.

We are on the north side of 10 Mile Rd between Greenfield Road and Southfield Road. We are in the Rutland Square Plaza office building, directly across the street from SMSE Credit Union. Our office is located on the first floor, in suite #101. There is plenty of parking around the building.

We accept cash and credit card payments. We do not accept American Express.
