How long have you been in business?
Advanced Vein Therapies was founded in 2006, but Dr. Miller has been performing complex image-guided endovascular procedures and treating vein conditions for 15 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Advanced Vein Therapies are specialists in the treatment of varicose and spider veins. We are also able to treat facial veins and rosacea using VeinWave technology, and are able to advise our patients on treatment options for a variety of vein conditions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Since 1994, Dr. Miller has been performing complex image-guided endovascular procedures. His experience includes service as a director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
In 2006, Dr. Miller decided to pursue his passion for treating venous diseases in an office setting and founded Advanced Vein Therapies.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
From the start, one of our main goals has been to eliminate long hours of waiting for procedures. Because we also believe that venous disease is often under-diagnosed and under-treated, at Advanced Vein Therapies, Dr. Miller has been demonstrating to grateful patients that there are more effective ways to treat painful varicose veins and related disorders than by just wearing compression stockings. With significant experience in both radiofrequency and laser therapy, he brings state-of-the-art technology to the treatment of venous disease.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have only one location in Novi MI. However, we are a growing company with future plans to add more doctors and expertly trained personnel to our staff. Eventually, we hope to open more clinics to serve patients in other parts of Michigan and the Midwest.
